Frontend development is the work of building the parts of a website or web application that people interact with in a browser. A useful learning path connects page structure, visual layout, programming, and interface behaviour. React becomes easier to understand when those foundations are already familiar.

Alicode’s Frontend Development course includes HTML, CSS, TypeScript, and React. Confirm the detailed syllabus, timetable, and assessment process for the group you plan to join. The milestones below explain how a beginner can think about progress; they are not a fixed lesson schedule. Classes are held in Jizzax at Zargarlik 81.

HTML: communicate the structure

HTML gives a page meaning through headings, paragraphs, links, lists, forms, and other elements. Start by making the information understandable before worrying about visual effects.

A suggested first project is a page for an imaginary local book club. Include its purpose, meeting details, and a contact form. Use clear headings and meaningful link text so a visitor can understand the page quickly.

The checkpoint is simple: can you explain why each element is appropriate?

CSS: make the page usable across screens

CSS controls layout and presentation. Practise spacing, typography, alignment, and responsive behaviour before adding elaborate animation.

Test your book-club page at different widths. Does the text remain readable? Are buttons easy to identify? Does any content disappear or overlap? A design that looks good on your own laptop is not enough.

The checkpoint is whether you can identify and fix a layout problem instead of repeatedly adding rules until it disappears by accident.

JavaScript: define behaviour

JavaScript lets a page respond to actions and manage changing information. Learn values, functions, conditions, collections, and events through visible behaviour.

Add a filter to a small book list or show a helpful message when a form is incomplete. Think through edge cases: no matches, empty input, and repeated clicks. These details turn an exercise into a more realistic interface.

The checkpoint is whether you can describe what should happen before writing the implementation.

TypeScript and React: organise growing complexity

TypeScript helps describe the expected shapes of data and can reveal certain mistakes before code runs. React provides a way to organise interactive interfaces into components with changing state.

Neither removes the need to understand browser behaviour or test your work. A useful practice task is to rebuild a small JavaScript interface in React and explain what changed in the organisation of the code.

Avoid collecting libraries simply because they appear in job advertisements. Understand the problem a tool solves before adding it.

What makes a frontend project convincing?

A convincing beginner project has a clear purpose, works on a phone, handles common errors, and includes a short explanation of decisions. It does not need dozens of pages.

Keep a list of improvements and show what you changed after feedback. Being able to revise your work is part of the skill you are developing.

Frequently asked questions

Should I start directly with React?

Learn enough HTML, CSS, and JavaScript to understand the interface you are building. Otherwise, framework exercises can become copying without understanding.

Is frontend development only about appearance?

No. It also involves behaviour, data, accessibility, error handling, and communication with other parts of an application.
